Who am I?
You could say yoga is in my blood. Some of my earliest memories are of practicing yoga with my mum. My roots are certainly within the classical aspects of Hatha yoga, however I thoroughly enjoy teaching and exploring other forms such as vinyasa and yin. I try to live and broaden my horizons with simple intentions. I wish all beings everywhere to be happy and free and hope that the actions of my life contribute to this happiness and freedom in some way. “Lokah Samasta Sukhino Bhavantu"
Why I teach yoga:
Because yoga provides us with a unique opportunity to explore endless possibilities without judgment. When we open our minds all that we receive is insight and wisdom.
About my training:
My formal training was a three-year diploma with The British Wheel of Yoga. The three years gave me a great opportunity to explore the greater realms of yoga. I lived in India for six months where I found a wonderful teacher and submerged my days in practice and studies. There are renowned and recognized teachers who I will continue to seek and practice with, however my most influential teachers are my friends and my students. I will never stop learning; this is the beauty of life. |
