Yoga Nidra with Sarah Robinette
Saturday, August 14, 3pm-4pm, $20

Yoga Nidra or yogic sleep is a state of deep conscious sleep. In meditation, you remain in the waking state of consciousness, and gently focus the mind, while allowing thought patterns, emotions, sensations, and images to arise and go on. This lying down meditation allows you to leave the waking state, go past the dreaming state, and go to deep sleep, while remaining awake. In this guided meditation you will remain lying down for the entire 60 minutes.

Demystifying the Shoulder Girdle with Ada Lusardi
Sunday, August 15, 2–4:30pm, $45

Through exploration and Asana we’ll look (and feel) deeply into the hardware and software of the shoulder girdle. You will learn how its component parts must dance around one another to facilitate healthy shoulder mobility and stability. Appropriate for teachers and students with at least one year of consistent practice (CEC’s available through Yoga Alliance). Please bring a notebook and your favorite anatomy book should you have one.

Liberate Your Shoulders, Ease Your Neck with Angelina Vasile
Saturday, August 21, 1:30pm–4pm, $45

Tension in the body diminishes our ability to experience sensation, freedom and joy…both in yoga and in our lives. If you have chronic tightness in the upper back, shoulders or neck, if you leave yoga feeling more bound up than when you began, then this workshop is for you. Learn how to create strength in your mid-back and spinal muscles as you release deep tension and bound energy in the neck, jaw and shoulders.

Kids’ Yoga Camp with Lauren Ingram
Thursdays, July 22 & 29, 2:00–3:00pm, $15 drop-in

Slither, leap, and crawl your way into and out of yoga poses. We will stretch our bodies and imaginations using our youthful energy to craft a one-of-a kind yoga story. Kids ages 4 through 8 will explore improvisational theater games and yoga asana to exercise their bodies, spirits and minds.

Working Through The Layers:
Ashtanga Vinyasa From The Inside Out with Renee Sills
Sundays, July 25 & Aug 1, 5–7pm, $35 drop-in

Explore the intricacies of the Primary Series postures and their modifications. Students will learn the foundation and intention of each posture and its effect on the body as a whole, including which organs support and release in the posture, the connection of the nervous and endocrine systems, the structure of the skeleton and the role of the bandhas and breath.
